Les Jardins d'Etretat — Website Redesign for a French Cultural Venue
Les Jardins d’Etretat is an artistic venue in France known for events, cultural programming, and its atmospheric garden. Their existing website did not reflect the quality of the physical experience, and they needed a modern, intuitive digital presence that would boost ticket sales and serve a diverse audience — including older and non-tech-savvy visitors.
Project Goals
- Convey the space’s identity — softness, creativity, and flow — through design
- Prioritize usability for all audiences, including older visitors
- Empower the client to manage and update content independently
- Create a timeless design that works on all devices
Interactive Map as Navigation

We created a fully interactive map of the venue. Visitors can hover over key areas, click through to event pages, and explore the space online before arriving in person.
Dynamic Image Gallery
Inspired by the organic atmosphere of the garden and studio spaces, we built a free-form image gallery. Images vary in size and placement, creating visual rhythm that mimics the spontaneous beauty of the real space.
Organic Visual Language
To reflect the venue’s identity, we incorporated:
- Curved backgrounds and flowing lines
- Rounded buttons and UI elements
- Warm, nature-inspired color palette
These elements create a sense of calm and creativity throughout the site.

Typography Curation
We tested over 12 font combinations to strike the right balance between legibility and elegance. The final choice communicates creativity without compromising accessibility — essential for a broad and diverse audience.
Built on Framer for Flexibility

- Publishing multilingual pages
- Using Framer’s component system for independent layout adjustments
