UGC Creators Over 45 — The Untapped Ad Audience for Dating, Supplements & Wellness

UGC creators over 45 — trust-first content for mature audiences

The 35+ audience is one of the hardest demographics to create UGC for. Creators need to look and feel authentic. Tone matters more than trends. Most agencies default to the same playbook they use for 20-somethings and wonder why the ads bomb.

We have built deep expertise in this demographic across dating, supplements, and wellness — and the data from four real campaigns proves what works and what does not.

YourChristianDate — 1M+ Views by Breaking Every “Best Practice”

YourChristianDate is part of Dating.com Group — a dating platform for a religious audience. The constraint: no paid traffic for organic content. Goal for month 1: 1,000-2,000 views per video, 60 videos per month. Each following month: +15% target.

The audience values their faith deeply but really does not want to be preached at. They are incredibly sensitive to tone and authenticity. Content gets judged emotionally first, ideologically second.

We built a repeatable system: content research, hypothesis building, scripts for culture and platform, humor testing, creator sourcing, publishing, and iteration.

What worked: Observational, first-timer humor. Content that said “dating at 45 is weird and here is why that is funny” instead of “God has a plan for your love life.” Two creator archetypes resonated most: a younger attractive male creator and a confident, charismatic man around 50 — both US-based.

What bombed: Preachy and authority-based formats. Anything that positioned the platform as a moral authority or used religious messaging as a sales pitch failed completely. The audience could smell inauthenticity in the first 2 seconds.

Result: some videos hit millions of organic views. We built a repeatable funnel: views to site traffic to registrations to paid subscriptions.

OurLove & DateMyAge — 48 Videos for Women 45+

Same parent company (Dating.com Group), different brands, different audience. OurLove and DateMyAge target women 45+ and men 40+. The tone shifts from humor to maturity, confidence, and “done wasting time.”

We produced 48 videos — 24 scripts across 2 brands. The format: slide-style videos with AI voiceover, designed to feel personal without requiring the vulnerability of on-camera testimonials.

We took existing raw UGC footage and re-edited into new ad creatives — new hooks, new structures, new CTAs. Then sourced new creators matching the silver age demographic, wrote scripts, and ran creative testing.

Hook testing with this audience revealed different patterns than younger demographics:

Longevity Supplements — EUR 183 CPA with Multilingual Creatives

Supplements for men 40+ (Europe, expanding to US). Multilingual content in German, Danish, and English. Educational storytelling with a doctor figure — Robert Lufkin, Head of Scientific Advisory Board — and AI organ visualizations. Target: 15+ seconds watch time.

We built the entire creative testing framework from scratch: what constitutes a test, A/B variations, winner identification, reporting templates.

First test results: EUR 917 spend, 5 purchases, CPA EUR 183. The key insight was diagnostic, not creative — creatives performed well (15+ second watch time confirmed the content held attention), but post-click conversion was weak. This was a funnel problem, not a creative problem.

CPM across Silver Age projects: EUR 24-35. CPC: EUR 1.1-1.8. These numbers confirm the audience is reachable at reasonable cost — the challenge is creative quality, not media buying.

Sea Moss — Full UGC Pipeline for Supplements

Supplement UGC at scale. We built a full pipeline: 15+ scripts, 8+ creators. Formats optimized for Meta Ads in the supplements niche.

Creator sourcing for supplements requires a specific profile: people who can speak about health benefits without making medical claims, who look like they actually use the product, and who can deliver educational content without sounding like a textbook.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is UGC for audiences over 45 harder than for younger demographics?

The 35+ audience has decades of advertising exposure and spots inauthenticity instantly. Creator sourcing is harder — you need people who match the demographic, not 22-year-old influencers. Tone matters more than trends. Our YourChristianDate data proved this: humor-first content hit millions of views while preachy formats bombed.

What CPA should I expect when targeting mature audiences with supplements?

Our Longevity supplement campaign achieved EUR 183 CPA on the first test. CPM across Silver Age projects runs EUR 24-35 and CPC EUR 1.1-1.8. The audience is reachable at reasonable cost — the variable is creative quality and post-click funnel optimization.

Can the same UGC system work across different 35+ product categories?

Yes. We use the same structural framework — repeatable system, rubric diversity, systematic testing — across dating, supplements, and wellness. The creative direction changes, but the production methodology stays the same.
